WATCH: Lindsey Graham Whines “Democrats Hate my Guts” and “I’m Getting Killed Financially”
Lindsey Graham was elected to the United States senate back in . His seat hasn’t been challenged much since then. South Carolina is a red state and has remained that way for his entire tenure.
2020, however, is much different for the long-serving senators. Voters are unhappy with his sycophantic behavior towards Donald Trump. He is also facing an extremely qualified opponent in Jaime Harrison. This morning on Fox & Friends, Graham whined about Harrison’s massive fundraising, lamenting that Democrats, “hate my guts.”
Graham began, “My opponent will raise almost $100 million dollars, Ainsley, in the state of South Carolina. The most money ever raised, in the history of the state on a senate race, was by me in 2014, when I spent $13 million.”
The lawmaker continued, “He raised $6 million from the time Justice Ginsburg passed away, within 72 hours. And God bless Justice Ginsburg, we’re celebrating her life. I appreciate waiting until Saturday to announce the replacement. But I am being killed financially. This money is because they hate my guts.”

Of course, Graham only has himself to blame. Voters have become engaged thanks to Graham’s own words. In 2018, the senator promised that if a Supreme Court nomination were to come up in an election year, he would block it. “I want you to use my own words against me,” he said.
Instead, voters are using their money against him.
