WATCH: Lindsey Graham Spars With Two Women at DC Airport Over Coney-Barrett
Lindsey Graham has had a rough 3 1/2 years in the senate since Donald Trump took office. The last year, though, has been particularly rough. The long-serving senator is locked in an incredibly tough battle with Jaime Harrison for his seat.
Graham shared a video of the exchange on his Twitter feed. One woman can be seen telling the lawmaker, “You’re an example of how things are getting out of control, sir.”
The other women yelled to the senator, “You’re gonna make my children, my daughter, who stood on the shoulders of giants, you’re gonna take her rights away by voting for this woman who’s a racist?”
Graham clearly wasn’t swayed by the arguments made by the women. He captioned his Twitter post, “I arrived in DC today & was confronted by 2 women — one of whom was from Seattle — who called Judge Amy Coney Barrett a racist & unqualified. This is the modern left, hostile & unhinged. I won’t be intimidated. I can’t wait to #FillTheSeat.”
