One way that Fox News aids the Republican party is by keeping its viewers in the dark when problematic stories about Conservatives come out. One recent example is the network completely ignoring the fact that the wife of a Supreme Court Justice was involved in a coup attempt.

Fox anchors also revise history, knowing their viewers will go along with pretty much anything they say. Laura Ingraham made an astonishing claim during her Thursday night show. According to the Fox host, there was no hoarding of products when Donald Trump was in office.
Ingraham was slamming the Biden administration for the current shortage of baby food. This shortage has been caused by a contaminated batch at the Abbott factory. The host played a clip of Jen Psaki remarking that rules have to be put in place to prevent hoarding. The press secretary noted, “We know that is an issue.”

A bemused Ingraham asked, “Why didn’t we have hoarding during the Trump administration?”
Of course, the sentiment is ridiculous. There was mass hoarding during the COVID-19 outbreak. And the Trump administration’s terrible mismanagement of the situation only made the hoarding worse.
