WATCH: Latest Fox News Poll Shows VP Harris Ahead of Trump

Fox News has released a new poll showing Vice President Kamala Harris has pulled ahead of Donald Trump by two points, a drastic change from their last poll which put Trump ahead.

The new Fox poll finds a 3 percentage-point shift among registered voters since mid-August. Trump had a 1-point advantage last month, while Harris is ahead by 2 points Thursday, leading Trump 50%-48%.

This marks the first time Vice President Harris has hit 50% with Fox reporting that the result is identical among both registered and likely voters.

In July, Trump was ahead by 1 point over President Joe Biden. While each of those differences falls within the margin of error, Vice President Harris has been consistently out-polling Trump in the last few weeks.

Another factor in the Vice President's favor is overwhelming support from Black voters, with Independents and the Hispanic community now swinging her way. Hispanic voters had favored Trump by 6 points in August, but they're now supporting VP Harris by 12 points. Independents were supporting Trump by 8 points last month, but now also prefer VP Harris by 12.

In another interesting statistic, Fox News found that among 2020 non-voters Vice President Harris is also up by 3 points, 51%-48%. Roughly 7 in 10 Harris and Trump supporters say they are "extremely" motivated to vote this year.

Other new polls are finding similar statistics. The latest AP Poll shows that voters are seeing Vice President Harris more favorably thanks to her increased visibility over the last seven weeks.
