Donald Trump has tapped all of his adult children to act as surrogates for his campaign. And he doesn’t just utilize his kids, he uses their spouses as well. Jared Kushner, of course, has been given a bunch of different jobs that he isn’t qualified for. And Don Jr.’s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, gave one of the most memorable speeches of the Republican National Convention.
But the presidential in-law that may actually have a political future is Lara Trump, the wife of Eric. She has already hinted that she may seek a senate seat in North Carolina. And Lara Trump certainly got in her father-in-law’s good graces on Friday by pushing election conspiracy theories on Sean Hannity’s show.
Referring to “egregious voter fraud,” Trump told the Fox host, “The fact that we are here in December and we’re having to point these things out is mind-boggling.”
The president’s daughter-in-law continued, “We’ve seen this all across the country and we continue to point out the fraud. Look, we’re fighting to the end and I want to make it clear to the American people, this is not over. Don’t for a second think that Joe Biden is going to be sworn in on January 20th.”
Hannity replied, “Everything also is so difficult. Now, I know the president is going down to Georgia and, by the way, I’m glad he’s going. We all know — it’s obviously about the whole country, Georgia holds the fate of the Republic right now in their hands.”
