WATCH: Lara Trump Tells Fox News That Their Poll That Had Biden With a 56% Approval Isn’t Legitimate

Donald Trump and the rest of his family exist in a bit of an echo chamber. In the circles they travel in, they are respected and beloved. The reality of the situation, though, is that Trump was one of the most unpopular presidents in United States history.

Since he’s taken office, Joe Biden has had strong approval ratings. And this has chaffed many members of the Trump family. During a Thursday appearance on Fox News, Lara Trump went as far as saying that a positive Fox poll for Biden wasn’t legitimate.

After Trump blamed Biden for skyrocketing crime, host Brian Kilmeade asked, “How do you explain his approval rating was at 54% (It’s actually at 56%)?”

The former president’s daughter-in-law responded, “I mean, I truly don’t believe that. I don’t think that is a legitimate number. I also think that he gets totally coddled, guys, by the mainstream media. Every time you see him truly asked a question by so many of these outlets, they are these softball questions about ice cream.”

Lara Trump continued, “I mean, I truly don’t believe that. I don’t think that is a legitimate number. I also think that he gets totally coddled, guys, by the mainstream media. Every time you see him truly asked a question by so many of these outlets, they are these softball questions about ice cream.”

Host Steve Doocy jumped in, “Fox News stands by the poll.”
