The 1/6 committee has attempted to speak with several prominent people from Donald Trump’s orbit. And some of these individuals, like Mark Meadows and Steve Bannon, have forced the committee into subpoenaing them.

Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) listens during a select committee meeting investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol at Cannon House Office Building on Capitol Hill October 19, 2021 in Washington, DC. And while Bannon or Meadows might be a good source of info, they are not the only source. Committee member Adam Kinzinger told MSNBC that many former Trump aides have already talked on Thursday.

The Illinois Rep. told Katy Tur that “plenty” of former Trump staffers have willingly testified. He continued, “We’re going to have people that have a piece of that story…you put those pieces together and then move up the ladder.”

Tur also asked Kinzinger about the communication between Fox Host Sean Hannity and Mark Meadows. The Rep. noted, “A text message to a chief of staff…seems to imply that maybe there was an understanding that something big was going to happen.”
