[WATCH] Kinzinger: Jan 6th Committee’s ‘Doors Are Open’ to Ginni Thomas and Secret Service After They Told Media They’d Comply

Before the January 6th House Select Committee hearings began, Ginni “What’s a Little Fake Electors Scam Between Friends?” Thomas told the media that she would just love to have a nice little chat with the panel. Same same with the Secret Service, who just did a light cleansing of their electronics before the panel could get to those pesky January 5th and 6th texts just full of incriminating evidence, oopsie.

However, things have changed since so much truth was shared over the eight televised Select Committee hearings. Everyone has learned a lot of new things that made Ginni look extra bad, plus new stuff about the Secret Service possibly being a part of the plot to 86 Mike Pence and keep Trump in office. And suddenly, everyone is a whole lot less enthusiastic about participating in the Best New Show of 2022.

The Secret Service members involved in the deleted texts scandals have all lawyered up now, and getting their voluntary testimony is probably no longer an option thanks to their Trumpy lawyer. So, more trees will die in the name of subpoenas that will be ignored, and then they can schedule more quickie 4-day Contempt of Congress trials like Steve Bannon’s.

Liz Cheney says they’re “fully prepared to contemplate a subpoena” for Ginni Thomas — wife of Clarence Thomas — if she doesn’t come in voluntarily. Also says missing Secret Service texts are “deeply troubling” and says on @CNNSotu to @jaketapper: “We will get to the bottom of it”

And Ginni’s playing all coy now, like “Now, now, why would I want to do something silly like that?” because she’s seen how serious the Committee’s proceedings have been and she also knows Merrick Garland is watching. Then there’s her husband, whom you may have heard of, and he’s not exactly bringing a whole lot of honor to the Supreme Court at the moment, so I say Garland just makes it a two-fer by indicting both of them.

In any case, Committee member Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), who led some of the more compelling moments of the hearings, says whenever these fools are ready, the Committee is ready. He just said it in Congressman-speak.
