Most Republicans are still being held in the sway of the former guy, afraid to say anything negative about him (publicly, anyway) that might incur his famous wrath. Even without the power to tweet, Trump still controls most of the party, as evidenced by their actions in the wake of the January 6th attack on the Capitol and their subsequent efforts to keep pushing the Big Lie about the 2020 Presidential election.
But Adam Kinzinger isn’t like most Republicans.
The Illinois Representative has been TFG’s most ubiquitous and vocal critic, constantly calling him out and telling the country the truth about Trump that the rest of his party is pretending isn’t true. Sharply funny and telegenic, Kinzinger might vote with his party most of the time, but he stands very much on his own when it comes to sticking to the actual facts of January 6th.
Kinzinger is also good at keeping tabs on the Democrats because he’s one of those bipartisanship kinds of guys.

So it’s not surprising that Kinzinger would go on CNN to talk about Trump’s Ohio rally last Saturday night, during which he blasted Ohio Democrats Anthony Gonzalez and Tim Ryan while repeating false claims of widespread voter fraud and an election “rigged” against him; he also busted out the projection language by calling President Biden as “incompetent” and beholden to the “far-left forces” in the Democratic Party.

Adam Kinzinger wasn’t having any of that. Watch him handily own Donald Trump, below.
