Donald Trump has long been known as a man who would throw his name on almost any product that can be sold. His son Donald Jr., has followed in his father’s footsteps and hawks a number of different products at the family’s Trump Store.
Earlier this week, Trump Jr. unveiled the new Trump camo collection via his Instagram page. The gear, which features a camo Trump logo, was widely mocked over social media. On his show last night, Jimmy Kimmel took the mockery a step father by introducing a new Trump Jr. action figure called GI Schmo.
Kimmel first took the family to task for making the new clothing line overseas. “The Trump family still isn’t making their crap in America. After all the talk about American-made this and that, they still can’t spend the extra $2 to have their garbage made here,” said the host. “In fact, the closest they got with this new line — I went through the site — is this: ‘Decorated in America.’ What does that even mean? ‘Decorated in America.’ Does that mean someone in Florida ironed the patch on?”
The late night host then unveiled the action figure. “He’ll fight for Daddy’s love,” said the voice-over in a mock commercial. DJTJ doesn’t run, fight or work, but he comes with cool camouflage clothes and a vanilla latte with a plastic straw. He never served in the military, but he fights for freedom his own way: on Twitter.”
