Watch: Kavanaugh Accuser Julie Swetnick Speaks On Camera For First Time Since Allegations
Yesterday attorney Michael Avenatti appeared to get under the skin of President Trump after his client, Julie Swetnick, came forward as the third alleged victim to speak out about the behavior of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Swetnick, who alleges to have been gang raped at a party with Kavanaugh present, also claims that both Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge would spike drinks at parties and administer drugs to girls in order to disorient them and allow multiple men to have sex with them.
Thus far neither Christine Ford or Debbie Ramirez, the other two alleged victims of Kavanaugh, have spoken about their incidents on camera, but yesterday Swetnick and her attorney Michael Avenatti did just that.
The interview with Showtime’s ‘The Circus’ will air in its entirety Sunday at 8 p.m., but a clip from the interview was teased this morning.
“It wasn’t just that I wanted to come out one day before the hearings… circumstances brought it out that way,” Swetnick explained. “This is something that occurred a long time ago and it’s not that I just thought about it. It’s been on my mind ever since the occurrences. As far as it goes, Brett Kavanaugh is going for a seat, where he’s going to have that seat on the Supreme Court for the rest of his life. And if he’s going to have that seat legitimately, all of these things should be investigated, because what I experienced first hand, I don’t think he belongs on the Supreme Court. I just want the facts to come out and I want it to be just, and I want the American people to have those fact and judge for themselves,” she continued.
