WATCH: Karl Rove Says Kamala Harris' Momentum Isn't Going Away

During a Friday spot on Fox News, political strategist Karl Rove discussed Kamala Harris' massive momentum and said that he expects it to continue through the Democratic National Convention.

As Donald Trump continues to flounder, Kamala Harris' strong start seems primed to continue. Democrats recently revealed the candidates more than doubled Donald Trump's fundraising total during the month of July.

And it isn't just in fundraising where Harris is topping Trump, her momentum is starting to show up in her poll numbers as well. And during his appearance on Fox News, Rove explained why Harris' strong polling won't be coming to an end anytime soon.

“Five polls have been held since the 26 of July. He leads in only two," he began. "She leads in three. So I fully expect that the momentum she has is going to, is going to carry her through, unless it’s a disastrous vice presidential choice. This momentum is going to leave her in the lead at the end of the Democratic convention."

This is similar to comments that Rove had made earlier in the week when he told Fox viewers:

"If you take those, those nine polls, it is Trump by 0.88. That’s basically nine-tenths of 1 percent. And that’s after he gets the bump coming out of the convention that really showed a unity for the Republican ticket in the Republican Party. And so this is going to be a barn burner, and it’s very much up for grabs, and the next two or three weeks are going to be critical for both camps."
