Last week, it was revealed that Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, had been in touch with former Cheif of Staff Mark Meadows about overturning the 2020 election. It is a massive story, especially since the justice has not recused himself from cases concerning the January 6th insurrection.

Of course, Fox News has mainly ignored the story entirely. But last night, Sean Hannity invited Josh Hawley on his show to talk about Ginni Thomas. Attacks on her, the senator claimed, amount to nothing more than misogyny.
Of course, the Missouri Republican utilized classic Conservative Hunter Biden whattaboutism. “I look forward to all the calls for Joe Biden’s resignation from all of these Democrats on exactly the same logic that you just outlined, Sean. So, if Hunter Biden ends up getting indicted, as looks increasingly likely, then I guess the president needs to resign for that.”
Hawley, who is connected to the January 6th insurrection himself, continued, “I look forward to all the calls for Joe Biden’s resignation from all of these Democrats on exactly the same logic that you just outlined, Sean. So, if Hunter Biden ends up getting indicted, as looks increasingly likely, then I guess the president needs to resign for that.”
