WATCH: John Leguizamo Slams Univision's Interview With Donald Trump

While he was President, Donald Trump largely avoided interviewing with any media outlet that may challenge the things he says and does. So he mostly met with safe networks like Fox News, OAN, and Newsmax.

Trump, hoping to capitalize on his better-than-expected performance with Latino voters in 2020, recently conducted an interview on Spanish network, Univision. Like with Fox News or Newsmax, Trump was largely left unchallenged during the interview. And John Leguizamo has a problem with that.

Hosting the Daily Show, the comic began, "I don’t know what’s more shocking: that Univision gave Trump a softball interview, or that Trump let a Latin guy into his house. How did that happen? What’d he think, he was there to mow the lawn?"

Leguizamo continued, "I thought it would be a dope opportunity to confront him on his hardline anti-Latino policies. But instead of an interview worthy of Univision, we saw this caca mierda."

The comic closed his rant by saying, "As a news organization for the Latino community, Univision has a responsibility to fully report what a second Trump presidency could mean for them, and the truth is that that s–t is mad scary."
