For the vast majority of his life, Donald Trump identified as a Democrat. When he saw the opportunity to become president, though, he quickly became a Republican. That doesn’t mean, of course, that Trump believes in any of the core tenants of Conservative ideology. It was always about power.
This attitude was on display this week when the former president threatened that Republicans wouldn’t vote in the coming years if the party didn’t go along with his election lies. And Jimmy Kimmel thinks that is hilarious.
Trump declared earlier this week, “If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in ’22 or ’24. It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.”
Kimmel told his audience, “The angry orange baby is throwing another fit over the election he can’t admit he lost. I know, I’m confused also. It’s like, did Nancy Pelosi write this for him?”
The late night host then continued, “It seems like he’s telling Republicans not to vote, right? And, of course, this brings up the age-old question: How do you solve a problem you made up?”
