WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel Tears Into ‘Perjury Taylor Greene’

Marjorie Taylor Greene recently testified about her actions in the lead-up to the 1/6 insurrection. To say that the Georgia congresswoman was evasive would be an understatement. And when the GOP lawmaker did answer a question, her responses were questionable.

During a Monday night segment, frequent Greene critic Jimmy Kimmel tore into the Republican. According to the late-night host, the congresswoman would be better off if she was named Perjury Taylor Greene.

Kimmel began by discussing Greene’s recent threat against him. “People there were worried I might get locked up,” he said, “being in the same town as the Klan Mom, Marjorie Taylor Greene. I actually met some of the Capitol police – I think I’m gonna be OK. There was no APB put out. I was able to walk freely around the city.”

The comedian continued, “So the Green Goblin had to testify under oath for almost four hours, where she played even dumber than she actually is.”

Kimmel then ripped into Greene’s use of pop culture quotes during her testimony. A lawyer asked her about her using the phrase, “We aren’t people that are going to go quietly into the night.” The host retorted, “Of course she quoted ‘Independence Day,’ to her that’s a history book.”
