All of televisions late night host's enjoy slamming Donald Trump, but none more than Jimmy Kimmel, who hosted last night's Oscars. Trump couldn't help but slam Kimmel during the broadcast. The host, though, read the critique directly on the show and punched back at the former President.
The post read in part, "Has there ever been a worse host than Jimmy Kimmel at the Oscars. His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something he is not, and never can be.
Trump also said that ABC should instead have George Stephanopoulos host the show, noting, "He would make everybody on stage look bigger, stronger and more glamorous. Also a really bad politically correct show tonight, and for years - disjointed, boring and very unfair.
After reading the message, Kimmel asked, Okay, now see if you can guess which former president just posted that on Truth Social. Anyone? No?" The host then joked:
"Well, thank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching. I’m surprised you’re still w– isn’t it past your jail time? He’s focused on the important stuff for sure."
