WATCH: Jimmy Kimmel Savagely Roasts Tucker Carlson’s Desperate Attempt to Make Tree Fire Seem Like Terrorism

Much to the delight of Fox News’ anchors, their company Christmas tree was lit on fire the other day. And while the event wasn’t politically motivated, the network’s personality’s have still compared the event to Pearl Harbor.

WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 29: Fox News host Tucker Carlson discusses ‘Populism and the Right’ during the National Review Institute’s Ideas Summit at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel March 29, 2019 in Washington, DC. Carlson talked about a large variety of topics including dropping testosterone levels, increasing rates of suicide, unemployment, drug addiction and social hierarchy at the summit, which had the theme ‘The Case for the American Experiment.’ (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

Not surprisingly, Tucker Carlson took it even further than others. And Carlson’s over the top response led to immediate mockery from late night host Jimmy Kimmel.

The host began by playing a clip of Brian Kilmeade saying the incident should be declared a hate crime. “You can’t commit a hate crime against a channel,” Kimmel said. “They must not have anything to talk about on Fox this week, because they really went to town on this ‘we have been victimized’ jab and no one did more phony foaming at the mouth than the Little Dumber Boy.”

The ABC personality then played a clip of Tucker Carlson asking why the Justice Department doesn’t track the burning of Christmas trees like they track the burning on Quran’s.

“Well, for one, little snowflake, unlike the Quran, Christians don’t base our faith on pine trees,” Kimmel answered. “It’s the reason we don’t hang popcorn and Cookie Monster ornaments on the Bible. But you know that.”
