There has never been a first lady quite like Melania Trump. The wife of Donald was controversial from the start as she plagiarized a Michelle Obama speech at the Republican National Convention. She later founded a charity pledged to stop bullying despite the fact that her husband constantly bullied political opponents.
But Melania Trump’s most memorable moment was her ‘I don’t care, do u?’ jacket. She wore the garment while her husband was embroiled in controversy over his treatment of migrant children. During her first foreign visit, Jill Biden worse a jacket that read love on the back.
A reporter asked the first lady, “Can you explain the message on your back, of your jacket, if you’re willing?”
Biden answered, “Oh, the love? I think that we’re bringing love from America. This is a global conference, and we are trying to bring unity across the globe. And I think that’s important right now, that people feel a sense of unity from all the countries and feel a sense of hope after this year of the pandemic.”
The first lady was then asked about President Biden’s preparation for the event. She answered, “I think he’s so well prepared. He’s been studying for weeks, working up to today. Of course he knows most of the leaders that‘ll be here. Joe loves foreign policy. This is his forte.”
Jill Biden showed up to meet British PM Boris Johnson and his wife wearing a jacket with "LOVE" embroidered on the back.
