If the recent leak from the Supreme Court was accurate, Conservatives judges will soon overturn Roe vs. Wade. If they are successful, each individual state will be able to make its own laws concerning abortion.
If these states ban abortions, it will not stop the practice, it will only make it more dangerous for women. The wire hanger, a symbol of the pro-choice movement in the 70s, is again commonly seen. According to Jeanine Pirro, performing an at-home wire-hanger abortion isn’t all that dangerous.
Pirro told viewers:
“And, finally, I think the outrage is even worse when they say, you know, they show the hangers and all that, you know, and that “this is how people die, this is how people die.”
Well, you know, I don’t want to get into, you know, when does life begin and all that, although you did reference it, Jesse, and I think most people would agree with the, you know, the first, second and third trimester, the way you analyzed it. But you want know — you want to use a hanger? How about you take a picture of an abortion, of a fetus being pulled apart? Let’s not go there.”
