[WATCH] Jan 6th Rioter’s Attorney Blames Trump For Sending ‘Dummies’ to Do His Dirty Work

The attorney for one of the January 6th Capitol insurrectionists went on a tirade at the end of an interview with CNN host John Berman where he scolded Donald Trump for sending “dummies” to do his dirty work in an effort to void the 2020 presidential election.
Having earlier compared Trump to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin, attorney Joseph Hurley went on an extended attack on Trump. Hurley’s client, Anthony Antonio, had made an effort to apologize for his actions while also admitting he went to Washington, D.C., on January 6th because Trump was calling for people to show up for him.

Asked if Trump should be held accountable for the January 6th insurrection, Anthony Antonio conceded, “I have my day in court, and do I think he’s held responsible for this? I think he should be held responsible — we’re all responsible for our own actions, and I do think he should be held responsible,” before adding, “I trust our legal system to do what they see fit when it comes to his actions that day.”
Accused Capitol rioter Anthony Antonio says he went to D.C. on 1/6 because of Trump:
"The President of the United States, who at the time he was still the President of the United States, calls all of us to D.C. Let's go check it out. Let's go see why he's calling us to D.C." pic.twitter.com/tcid0CcYZN

After sharing that moment, Berman asked his guest, “Counselor, what do you think of that? Should the former president be held to account for what happened?”
Hurley’s full response is best seen, not read. Watch the segment, below.
