WATCH: J.D. Vance Says He And Trump Are Normal Guys and Not at all Weird

While taking questions from reporters yesterday, J.D. Vance attempted to paint himself and Donald Trump as normal guys with no weird quirks.

Tim Walz came onto the scene for many Americans when he began to act as a surrogate for Kamala Harris once she became the Democratic nominee. And in one of his most memorable segments, he described Donald Trump and J.D. Vance as weird. The moniker has stuck many more Democrats have begun to use it as well.

Vance was in Eau Claire, Wisconsin yesterday as he's been following Harris and Walz on each of their campaign stops. While there, reporters asked him about being labelled weird.

"They're going to attack us on something, and they're going to criticize us on something," Vance responded. "I think that's what makes Donald Trump and I good candidates and a good team is that we're normal guys who want to make this country great again, and we want Americans to be able to live the American dream. I really do think that whatever Tim Walz calls me, I mean, talk about, talk about weird with Tim Walz."

Donald Trump's Republican running mate continued, "That's pretty weird. These people have no leg to stand on, and I think what's going to happen is they're going to try to call us weird for the next 93 days, and what's going to happen is the American people aren't going to care about it because they don't care about some tagline written by a social media intern."
