[WATCH] It’s Official: Former WH Press Secretary Jen Psaki Will Join MSNBC

The Psaki Bombs will be back soon, but this time they’ll be streaming from MSNBC instead of the White House Briefing Room.
Jen Psaki, who served as President Joe Biden’s Press Secretary for just over a year and three months (and gave more briefings than all of Trump’s Press Secretaries combined) will host an original program currently still under development for streaming on Peacock, MSNBC President Rashida Jones announced Tuesday. “She’s a familiar face and trusted authority to MSNBC viewers, and we look forward to her insight during this consequential election season,” Jones said in a statement.

Psaki held her final White House press briefing on May 13th following reports in April that she was planning to leave the Biden administration to take an on-air role at the cable news channel.
Jen Psaki has now officially joined MSNBC. She'll be a political analyst for the midterms. She'll make other appearances as well. She is expected to host a new streaming show beginning next year.

MSNBC’s Jones said Psaki was chosen to create a new show based on her “extensive experience in government and on the campaign trail and perspective as a White House and Washington insider.”

It’s not the first time MSNBC has poached a staffer from the Biden White House. MSNBC has also hired Symone Sanders, former chief spokeswoman for Vice President Kamala Harris.
Thrilled to join the incredible @MSNBC family this fall. Breaking down the facts and getting to the bottom of what’s driving the issues that matter most to people in this country has never been more important.
