Feeling snubbed by the fashion industry, a few brave souls who support Donald Trump mounted their own runway event Tuesday night.
The event was held at "The America First Warehouse"--which purports to be “America’s most patriotic venue"--locatedin the fashion capital of the world, Ronkonkoma, New York (which is accessible by the Long Island Railroad for those who don't want to spring for an Uber from Manhattan).
An invited group of about 200 guests--100 locals, the rest "flown in" for the event--was said to be in attendance with displays of 1987 mall-level designs. Mostly sequined in red, white, and blue, some outfits displayed messages such as "Fight, Fight, Fight" and a few "models" wore gowns with "2024 America's Comeback" on them.
There's even a MAGA beauty collection to go with the gowns, replete with red lipsticks in the shade of Trump's MAGA hat.
"Some women are too afraid to wear their MAGA hats or their shirts, but they can always wear the red," the founder of "MAGA Red Beauty" said, describing it as a "lipstick with a purpose".
The fashion show went so hilariously viral that Jimmy Kimmel featured it on his show.
Once clips from the fashion show hit the internet, Twitter users were quick to roast the event, which boasted a "famous rapper" that no one had ever heard of.
Users sharing clips said, "This amount of cringe should be banned" and "This is not America first, it’s America worst."
The photos from the event are...something.
"Cringeworthy" seems to be the real message here.
