WATCH: Hogan Gidley Pleads With Companies to Hire Ex Trump Staffers

Donald Trump is officially out of the White House and down at Mar-a-Lago. And the people who supported him in the White House are now looking for their next jobs. Some, like Sarah Huckabee Sanders, have decided to run for office. Others are hoping for TV spots.

For the majority of people who served under the 45th President, though, the job hunt has been unsuccessful. Even Kayleigh McEnany had a proposed deal with Fox News fall through. During a weekend TV spot, former Trump spokesperson Hogan Gidley pleaded with companies to hire former White House staffers.

Gidley made the comments during an appearance on Eric Bolling’s talk show. Bolling asked the former press secretary if he was surprised at by how much Trump staffers are “hated” by the left.

“I’m not surprised at all,” Gidley replied. “They hated us for years. And remember, it’s not the president so much. I mean, they hated him for sure. They hate all of us! They hate the people out there who don’t agree with them. And the whole lie about ‘unity’ is completely the biggest farce I’ve ever seen.”

Gidley then stumped for companies to hire former staffers from the Trump White House. “Of course they’re going to attack those who worked in the administration,” he said. “But people who work in a White House, whether it be Republican or Democrat, have a depth of knowledge of how the government works. That’s an asset to any entity at all. They also understand the players in Washington, D.C.”
