WATCH: Hannity and Pirro Blast Mitch McConnell For Being Mean to Donald Trump

Donald Trump is leaving the White House on Wednesday. And Mitch McConnell has little use for him anymore. In fact, the senate majority leader has been dropping hints that he may support removing Trump via impeachment.

These actions by McConnell have infuriated Fox personalities Jeanine Pirro and Sean Hannity. During a Tuesday night segment the duo blasted the Kentucky senator with Hannity calling for new GOP leadership. Pirro opined that McConnell shouldn’t be able to act as a judge in Trump’s looming impeachment trial.

During a Tuesday floor speech, McConnell said, “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people, and they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government, which they did not like.”

The former judge rambled, “What we’re seeing with Mitch McConnell right now, is his, you know, he’s not going to be the majority leader any longer. He’s going to be the minority leader. We saw him kiss the ring of Chuck Schumer and basically trash President Trump on his last day in office. Which to me makes him ineligible, as far as I’m concerned, as someone who wants to sit on the jury for an impeachment trial. And I think any impeachment of someone who’s not in office is unconstitutional, given the fact that they can’t then remove him from office because he’s already out of office.”

Hannity also blasted McConnell during his Tuesday radio show. He told listeners, “Republicans need new leadership. These guys have been there forever.”
