WATCH: Giuliani Argues Trump was Found Liable of Sexual Assault, Not Rape

When it comes to lawyers, Donald Trump has been scraping the bottom of the barrel for years. His current lawyer, Alina Habba, is much more comfortable on Fox News than she is in a courtroom. She was frequently admonished by Judge Roberta Kaplan during the E. Jean Carroll case.

Another former incompetent lawyer for Trump, Rudy Giuliani, went on Newsmax last night to discuss the former President being ordered to pay Carroll $83 million. And the former Mayor of New York had a strange defense for his long-time friend.

Giuliani first went after Judge Kaplan, who is widely respected, for her treatment of Habba, who didn't seem to understand how a court works. "The judge is a disgrace to the greatest court in America," he remarked. "He’s telling a lawyer what questions to ask. That’s totally ridiculous. He won’t let him defend himself."

The former lawyer continued:

"First of all, he was found not guilty– or not liable for rape. It was sexual assault, not rape. And second, you can be– you can be guilty of rape, and still, a person can be a whacko. That was a defamation. You’re still allowed to defend yourself against defamation.

Like Trump, Giuliani was also recently found guilty of defamation. He owes his victims $150 million, almost twice as much as his ex-boss owes Carroll.
