WATCH: Georgia Republican Asserts That Native Americans & Enslaved Africans “Died For The Sake Of Our Country”

Kandiss Taylor is one of Georgia’s candidates for Governor, facing off against incumbent Brian Kemp, who has the support of the Republican Governors’ Association, and David Perdue, endorsed by Donald Trump, among others, in Tuesday’s primaries. If the goal wasn’t to earn votes through policy positions, but by maximum ridiculousness, she’d have a real shot at the position.

Taylor holds such questionable qualifications as being the only candidate to promise that she’d fight the ‘Luciferian regisme’ by having the Georgia Guidestones torn down, and having earned the support of some q-anon fanatics by claiming that the 2020 election is currently being decertified.

Now, she’s talking about all the people who died to make America great and ensure her freedom — watch below as she describes Jesus, Native American victims of genocide, and eslaved people kidnapped from Africa as examples.

“I want to be free, and freedom is priceless. Jesus paid his whole body, death, burial, every bit of it, on the cross for our freedom. We’ve had men and women who have died since the inception of our country. Look at the Native Americans, and how they were treated, and the genocide that happened with them. Look at slavery. Look at African Americans who came over here against their will and died for the sake of our country! Look at men and women who have gone in the military and fought war after war, defending our freedom in our country.”

The latest analysis from RealClearPolitics shows Taylor receiving the support of just over 5% of Georgia voters — so about one in every 20 voters in the state still thinks she’s a good option.
