A witness who spoke before the special grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, that is hearing evidence about Donald Trump’s attempt to subvert the 2020 presidential election results says that former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani committed a crime when he tried to help Trump in his efforts.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has sent subpoenas to Giuliani, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Donald Trump’s former lawyer John Eastman in connection with their roles in the plot to pressure Georgia election officials to overturn the results in Georgia by just enough votes to flip the state in Trump’s favor. The move comes after the special grand jury she assembled had heard weeks of testimony from at least 50 witnesses.Democratic Georgia State Sen. Jen Jordan was in the hearing as Giuliani, acting on Trump’s behalf, tried to convince Georgia lawmakers on his case that the election was stolen despite knowing better. Jordan, who is currently running to become Georgia’s attorney general, appeared on MSNBC on Sunday and related her experience listening to Giuliani spin conspiracy theories, which amounts to lying under oath. But it was Giuliani’s other criminality at the center of the discussion on “The Katie Phang Show.”
Looks like Trump is going down in Georgia. Since everything Trump touches dies, might be time for Graham, Giuliani, and Eastman to start singing.

While state Sen. Jordan couldn’t share her exact testimony, she did speak about how the grand jury is viewing Giuliani’s criminality. “What’s significant about this special grand jury proceeding, they are gathering all of the evidence, they are pulling it all together, right?” Jordan said. “They are trying to kind of draw the line and see who was involved, what was said, what was done. What were the intentional acts that moved this conspiracy forward.”

Host Katie Phang also asked about Giuliani’s fraudulent testimony regarding the election being stolen from Trump. “Did Giuliani commit a crime before your very eyes?” Phang asked. Jordan replied: “In my opinion, he did.”
