WATCH: George Conway’s Group Releases Devastating Trump Ad

Donald Trump often talks about how popular he is with Republican voters. Just this weekend, he tweeted that he holds a 96% approval rating with Conservatives. While there are no polls showing that kid of popularity, the President is still in good shape with his base.

A number of Republicans, however, have left the party due to an extreme dislike for Trump. This includes people like Rick Wilson and George Conway. On Monday, Wilson and Conway’s group, The Lincoln Project, released a video that trashes Trump’s leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The spot begins, “Today, more than 60,000 Americans have died from the deadly virus Donald Trump ignored. With the economy in shambles, more than 26 million Americans are out of work — the worst economy in decades.”

The ad continues, “Many are giving up hope. Millions worry that a loved one won’t survive COVID-19. There’s mourning in America — and under the leadership of Donald Trump, our country is weaker, sicker, and poorer.”

The spot concludes by urging viewers to vote in November. The voiceover asks, “Will there even be an America left if Trump manages to win another four years?”
