While Donald Trump was still president, a number of COVID-19 vaccines were developed. The 45th president also let the virus grow out of control in the country. He refused to take even small steps like encouraging the use of face masks or restricting the attendance at his rallies.

Now that he is out of office, Trump feels like he should get credit for the development of the vaccines. He also feels like he should be completely absolved from the performance that allowed thousands of Americans to needlessly die.
Not surprisingly, the hosts of Fox & Friends have taken Trump’s side in the argument. On Friday’s episode, host Brian Kilmeade argued that the country needed to stop talking about the 500,000 people who have died.
Kilmeade told viewers, “We don’t need to go over the 500,000 dead, we had that moment. Let’s talk about the future moving forward. Every time he has a chance to praise the previous administration, he not only doesn’t praise, he kicks them in the groin.”

Earlier in the show the Fox host ripped Joe Biden for not bring enough of a “unifier.” Kimeade claimed, “Just to keep in mind, some of the things that Joe Biden had the opportunity to be that unifier, that uniter that he talked about at his inaugural. He could talk about Operation Warp Speed, how it exceeded expectations. He could talk about the vaccine how it was almost ready to go when he took office.”
