WATCH: Fox’s Bill Hemmer Wonders If Bible Characters Will Be Cancelled Next
There are a number of different important news stories that could be covered on cable news right now. Fox News, however, regularly makes the decision not to cover any of them. The main topic for the network right now if cancel culture.

Cancel culture is the term Fox uses when a Conservative gets comeuppance for their questionable actions. During his Friday daytime show, host Bill Hemmer wondered if Bible characters will be the next to be cancelled.
Hemmer and Dana Perino were discussing the possibility that Illinois take down a number of statues. Reporter Carly Shimkus remarked, “Forty-one Chicago monuments are under review. Five are of Abraham Lincoln in Illinois — the land of Lincoln. His statue might be removed from the city.”
Shimkus continued, “You have to wonder, are we in a transition period in our country right now where our grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren might not think of these people the way we do? They might not be taught in the same way we know them now. I say more statues, not less, not fewer. More opinions, more ideas, not less.”
Hemmer then chimed in, “If they start canceling American presidents, they’ll come after Bible characters next. Mark my words, right?”
