WATCH: Fox's Jessica Tarlov Wants to Know What the Heck Trump Was Talking About

During Thursday's edition of The Five, co-host Jessica Tarlov mocked Donald Trump's answer about lowering child care costs in America.

The former Commander in Chief is not quite qualified for any job, let alone running the most influential country on the planet. But those who run and work for Fox News have to act as if Trump is a legitimate candidate.

The 45th President made that difficult on Thursday when he attempted to answer a question about child care costs today. He attempted to explain:

"Well, I would do that, and we’re sitting down — you know, I was, somebody — we had Senator Marco Rubio, and my daughter Ivanka was so impactful on that issue. It’s a very important issue. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I’m talking about, that — because the childcare is childcare — there’s something, you have to have it in this country."

Attempting to address the answer, Tarlov responded, "[T]oday was also about Donald Trump’s economic speech, and we watched a lot of it. And I would dare any of you to listen to his answer on childcare and tell me what the hell he was talking about. It was one of the more incoherent things I’ve ever heard. He thinks tariffs are gonna pay for everything. We know that they’re attacks on the consumer."
