[WATCH] FOX NEWS REJECTS MEIDASTOUCH TV AD ON JAN. 6 POLICE TESTIMONY
Progressive PAC’s Viral Ad “#GOPBetrayedAmerica” Rejected by FOX News
LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, FOX News baselessly declined to broadcast MeidasTouch’s viral new video ad that puts a spotlight on the GOP’s cover-up of the January 6 domestic terrorist attack at the U.S. Capitol building. The leading progressive SuperPAC had planned to place a six-figure TV buy on FOX News nationwide, starting on FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace today.
The ad, titled “#GOPBetrayedAmerica”, highlights the traumatic events at the Capitol on January 6th where armed insurrectionists and violent riots killed five individuals, including three police officers, contrasted with prominent GOP officials who have tried to downplay what happened on that tragic day. The ad already has over a million views on Twitter after quickly going viral and reaching the number one trending topic in the United States.

Reacting to the hard-hitting ad’s rejection from FOX News, Brett Meiselas, one of the founders of the PAC, stated:
“The GOP and their media outlets are putting all their energy behind a reprehensible, treasonous attempt to cover up the horrifying events of January 6. Americans can never forget what happened that day, the damage done to our democracy, and the lost lives.
We couldn’t have fathomed in our wildest imaginations that even Fox News would reject an ad that simply condemns the insurrection, and condemns people who support the insurrection. Fox has really become a fascist echo chamber gatekeeper for their base.”
