WATCH: Fox Hosts Says It’s OK Kavanaugh Lied About Roe Because of Sexual Assault Allegations
Prior to the vote on whether or not he would be placed on the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh was credibly accused of sexual assault. His accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, gave a stirring testimony to United States senators. Despite her claims, the FBI conducted a sham of an investigation, and Kavanaugh was pushed.
During those hearings, Kavanaugh was also asked about his position on Roe vs. Wade. The future justice claimed that the law was settled as president. Now it looks like Kavanaugh has likely gone back on his word. That’s ok, though, say Fox hosts, because he was treated so poorly.
Geraldo Rivera began, “Shame on Gorsuch, shame on Coney Barrett, shame on Kavanaugh. They knew when they were swearing to those Senators or in the conversations in the Senate offices that they were going to vote to reverse, or overthrow, Roe v. Wade. They knew it and they lied about it. And I don’t know how you fix that. I don’t know how you can repair when the most sacred office in the land, the high court of the United States, is people by politicians.”
