When Joe Biden was elected this last November, Kamala Harris become both the first woman and the first person of color to become the Vice President of the United States. It was clear that Fox News was going to use these two facts to trigger their voters. It was not clear that they would be so aggressive about it.
Over the weekend, Harris was at her alma matter, Howard University, for a football game. The hosts of Fox & Friends ripped into her for this decision, calling her the “affirmative action” Vice President.
Host Rachel Campos-Duffy began, “Meanwhile, Kamala Harris, she was not at the border.” Will Cain jumped in, “She’s the border czar.”
“Yeah, she was not dealing with the root cause. She was at a football game, because you know, as the Affirmative Action vice president who was selected because she was a woman and because she was the right color, she likes to go to these things. She went to her alma mater, Howard University, a historically Black college. This is the kind of stuff she likes to do. Stuff on the border, not so much.”
