WATCH: Fox Host Kennedy Rages After Bruce Springsteen Song Plays on The Five

If you bother to listen to any of his records, it should be pretty obvious that Bruce Springsteen leans left. Many Conservative people enjoy listening to his music but don’t agree with his politics. So they tend to say things like, Springsteen has really changed over the years.

During Monday’s show, the producers played a Springsteen song while cutting to commercial. This enraged Kennedy, who accused the musician of turning into a communist.

Kennedy told viewers, “I like ‘Glory Days,’ I like ‘Born In The U.S.A.,’ la la la la la, but he’s turned into a massive pinko. I think he’s a commie … he turned into a massive pinko!”

Like many on the right, Kennedy assumes Born in the USA is a patriotic song. In fact, its a takedown of how the government let down soldiers coming home from Vietnam.

Springsteen was frequently critical of Donald Trump. Following Trump’s March to Lafeyette Square, he remarked:

“I believe we may have finally reached a presidential tipping point with that Lafayette Square walk. [It was] so outrageously anti-American, so totally buffoonish and so stupid, and so anti–freedom of speech. And we have a video of it that will live on forever.”
