WATCH: Fox Guest Rips Matt Schlapp, Trump Campaign For Continuing to Grift Post Election
The 2020 Presidential Election may be over, but that doesn’t mean that Donald Trump has stopped trying to raise money. In fact, it’s going quite well. According to a recent story from , the campaign has raised $200 million since election day.
And while Team Trump is telling supporters the money is funding election challenges, it is actually going towards paying campaign debts. During a recent appearance on Fox News, Chris Hahn called out the campaign and Trump’s Director of Strategic Communications, Matt Schlapp, for the continued grift.
Both men were discussing the recent election with Fox host Bill Hemmer. Schlapp ranted that there was massive voter fraud in Nevada and that Trump had actually won the state.
Hemmer asked Hahn to respond. “Yeah, I measure this as Biden won Nevada, and Matt, I’ll bet you the entire budget of CPAC that Biden won Nevada. No matter what happens in court today, Biden won Nevada. It’s time for the president, and supporters of the president to stop grifting people who are believing this lie that there’s some sort of widespread fraud across this country. It does not exist.”
After Schlapp doubled down on his claims, Hahn responded, “What Republicans really don’t want are people voting in large numbers, because it’s proven now that they really can’t win when they do.”
