WATCH: Fox Cuts Away From Harris Speech to Declare She's Not Delivering the Right Message

Fox News aired part of Kamala Harris' speech to a large teachers' group on Thursday but later cut away from the broadcast, arguing that she wasn't addressing the right things.

The GOP would like nothing more than to never have to address the school shootings that have plagued the country over the last two decades. Instead, they would like to discuss nonsense topics like abolishing the Department of Justice and preventing Critical Race Theory (often taught in graduate-level college courses) from being part of elementary school curriculums.

During her speech, Harris addressed actual issues, saying, "Just think about it: we want to ban assault weapons, and they want to ban books."

The Vice President continued, "These extremists also attack the freedom to love who you love openly and with pride. There are some young teachers in their twenties who are afraid to put up a photograph of themselves and their partner for fear they could lose their jobs."

Fox News soon cut away, with host Harris Faulkner complaining, "This is exactly what Sen. Ted Cruz said she would do. She would ignore the actual issues facing children."

Of course, the Vice President wasn't speaking to a children's group, she was speaking to a group of teachers. So rather than addressing the issues facing children, she addressed the issues facing children. Educators have always been a strong voting block for Democrats and that isn't likely to change during this election cycle.
