[WATCH] Former WH Aide Says Trump Admitted He Lost the Election

A former White House aide under Donald Trump says that she heard Trump admit privately that he lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden, the latest in a series of former White House officials to contradict Trump’s false claim that the election was stolen.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, the former White House director of strategic communications, said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Trump “blurted out watching Joe Biden on TV, ‘Can you believe I lost to this guy?'”

WASHINGTON, DC – OCTOBER 09: White House Communications Director Alyssa Farah talks to reporters following an interview with FOX outside the West Wing October 09, 2020 in Washington, DC. Without revealing specifics, Farah said the White House is optimistic about reaching a deal with House Democrats on coronavirus relief legislation. ‘We are willing and eager to make a deal,’ she said. Griffin, who has been openly courting a job on “The View,” joins more than 30 former Trump officials and advisors who have spoken out against his leadership and character, many under oath during given testimony to the January 6th House Select Committee.

Griffin also issued a warning for those who have walked away from Trump: his remaining loyalists are mad and motivated.

As for Trump, Griffin told CNN’s Dana Bash, “I’m not of the mind that this is going to take down Donald Trump in a legal sort of way,” she said on “State of the Union.” “But I do think it’s going to inform the public about a man who lost and couldn’t do what we’ve done for the entirety of our history, which is allow a peaceful transition of power.”
