It was always clear that Donald Trump was being reckless in regards to COVID-19. And that recklessness earned him a trip to the hospital with the disease. Of course, his doctors lied about how seriously Trump really was.
What wasn’t clear, though, was just how willing he was to expose other people. Former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows revealed that Trump had gone out in public after testing positive. During a Wednesday spot on CNN, former Trump staffer Alyssa Farah blasted Trump’s behavior.
“Very few things shock me and this revelation shocked me,” she told Jake Tapper. “This demonstrates a flagrant lack of regard for public health and for the well-being of others. At this time in the White House, I had staffers who were pregnant. I had one who is a multi-time cancer survivor. Plenty of people in the West Wing over 65. We could have killed one of our colleagues and instead they decided to not tell anyone, putting every one of us at risk.”
