The post-presidential debate post-mortems were everywhere on Wednesday, with social media content creators generating hundreds of millions of impressions and TV pundits devoting their lineups to dissecting Donald Trump's historically awful performance while praising Vice President Kamala Harris for hers.
While most of the predictions had heavily favored the Vice President to win, there was a definite feeling of anxiety regarding just how badly Trump would behave and how the former prosecutor would handle it.
Republicans weren't shy about expressing their admiration for the Vice President's outstanding debate night.
And so the Wednesday morning quarterbacking shifted to what's next for Kamala Harris now that she's demonstrated her ability to not just hold her own, but fully own Donald Trump while she did it.
It wasn't just that Kamala Harris demonstrated how good she is at debating, but she also showed the world that she isn't easily intimidated.
Former Ohio Governor John Kasich, briefly a former challenger to Donald Trump for the GOP presidential nomination, appeared on MSNBC Wednesday morning and made it clear that he believes the Vice President has a clear path to victory in November.
Another former Governor and Trump challenger, New Jersey's Chris Christie, bookended the debate with his advice to VP Harris on how to take on Trump (as if she needed his help) and then appeared on "The View" Wednesday morning to praise her performance.
But Christie also claimed to still be "undecided" about who he's going to vote for despite being one of Trump's most vocal critics.
