It’s a good thing you’re probably sitting down while reading this, because get ready for a shocker: a member of the Trump Administration lied to the American people! Not just once, neither!
Have you caught your breath yet? You’re not dizzy? Good, let’s continue. Just keep those smelling salts close by, because–gasp!–the particular liar in question is William “If Garfield the Cat Wore Glasses” Barr, the former Attorney General of the United States who forgot he was supposed to be America’s AG, not Trump’s personal fixer.
While probably none of that comes as a shock, it’s still one thing to make jokes on Twitter about Barr being compromised beyond redemption to the point where he stopped pretending he had any loyalty to the United States because he was owned by the Florida retiree. It’s entirely another to have an esteemed legal analyst who literally wrote the book on Barr reveal that not only did the former AG lie for Trump, he did so repeatedly and with malicious intent.
"Bill Barr came in and lied to us. He lied to us for two years. Everything from the Mueller report to fanning the flames of the big lie of election fraud," Elie Honig says on the fmr. Attorney General.
"Yes, there's a lack of character." https://t.co/SI8KuCEgOC

CNN legal analyst Elie Honig has just released a new book, “Hatchet Man: How Bill Barr Broke the Prosecutor’s Code and Corrupted the Justice Department” in which he details how Barr allowed himself to become corrupted by Trump. In an opinion piece that preceded the book’s release, Honig asks the reader to ignore Barr’s “image rehabilitation tour” akin to his former colleague John Bolton’s. Barr plans to make the news media rounds to plea his own case, and since Honig’s assertion that “Barr bears as much responsibility as anybody other than Trump himself for spreading the malicious lie that ultimately resulted in the January 6th Capitol insurrection”, he should be held accountable.
Gr8 Question. Obviously Bill Barr is corrupt. He goes to prison (remember, 2 of Nixon's AG's were convicted)
Fastest path to Bill Barr first trial is Giuliani aftermath (Ukraine, obstruction of justice)
