[WATCH] FBI Questioned Insurrectionist About Alleged Ties to Members of Congress
NBC has obtained a transcript of an FBI interview with a January 6th insurrectionist defendant, which included questions about his possible connections with Members of Congress.
House and Senate Republicans have been under fire for not voting for the formation of a bipartisan January 6th Commission and raising suspicious by also voting against the Congressional Gold Medal for Metropolitan and Capitol Police officers who protected them as the mob of MAGA rioters roamed the halls of the Capitol and stealing personal effects from offices.
While Republicans are continuing their attempt to rewrite the history of that day, with their newest conspiracy scapegoating the FBI as the architects of the insurrection who simply pinned the blame on Trump and his supporters, it’s very possible that the rioters in custody may have been in contact with one or more members of Congress.
Paul Gosar, Andy Biggs, and Mo Brooks should never be mentioned by media without the term "insurrectionist" being applied to them. Just because the FBI doesn't investigate it doesn't mean Ali Alexander hasn't confessed many times on video that he plotted January 6 with these men.
