WATCH: Eric Trump Says His Father’s Polling is Looking Really Great
Donald Trump has 5 children. Only one of these children, Ivanka, was given a position in his administration. His oldest sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, were supposed to handle the family’s business portfolio. Still, both sons make frequent appearances on the campaign trail and on cable news.
Eric Trump appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show last night to discuss the 2020 election. The president’s son claimed that the campaign is going great and the polls are “looking better every day.”
The president’s son painted a much different picture than the one reported by the media. He told Hannity:
“Listen, I think we’re looking really good. The polls are looking great. You see it every day. The enthusiasm is tremendous. And I can tell you, as vocal as a lot of our supporters are, whats under the surface, Sean is tremendous. I see it. I see more enthusiasm going into 2020 than I did in 2016 and my Father is going to win this election.”

The polling is, decidedly not looking great for Donald Trump. There has been a number of polls that show him trailing Biden by more than double digits. There are essentially no well-regarded surveys that show him within the margin of error.
According to the polling tracker featured on fivethirtyeight.com, Biden currently leads Trump by an average of 7.8%. In addition, Biden holds leads in nearly every competitive swing state. Under the current conditions, it would be very difficult for Trump to win the necessary 270 electoral votes.
When you’re leading a presidential race nationally by double digits, you’re set to exceed 300 electoral votes.
