California Rep. Eric Swalwell questioned Jim Jordan's sanity from the House floor after the House Judiciary Chair used the body's account to share a meme about migrants eating cats.
It was said multiple times by Democrats the the current House GOP is not a serious group. And the Republicans in Congress keep doing everything they can to prove them right.
The latest conspiracy theory, based one Fox News story about a woman kidnapping and eating a cat in Ohio, is that Haitian migrants are stealing pets and eating them. In addition to being untrue the theory is also deeply racist. It was no surprise to see Jordan share this meme:
Eric Swalwell showed the picture shared by Jordan and asked, "What in the hell is this?! The chairman tweets, “Protect our ducks and kittens in Ohio” because he goes down some crazy rabbit hole, completely debunked that aliens are eating pets. My God, are you ok, Mr. Chairman? Because last year, for a very long time, you tweeted and promoted Kanye West as he was calling for genocide against the Jews and you kept it up. And now when we have victims coming here, you’re tweeting this nonsense."
The California Rep. continued, "I, I don’t know why you would do this. I hope you’re ok. I don’t know if the aliens who are eating your ducks are in the room with us right now. But, Mr. Chairman, this is a serious issue. These people have loved ones who have been lost. And you tweeted this."
