[WATCH] Elon Musk Claims Ghislaine Maxwell Photobombed Him In Photo, Denies Knowing Her

Elon Musk is tweeted on Thursday that he was photobombed by Ghislaine Maxwell back in 2014 at a Vanity Fair party. Maxwell was an associate of convicted sex offender and now deceased Jeffrey Epstein. She was recently arrested in connection to an alleged sex ring involving the trafficking of underage girls. She is accused of being Epstein’s madame who recruited young girls into the sex ring.  Musk is also denying that he was the one who helped Epstein connect with Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.

Musk’s tweet was in response to someone posting the photo in which Musk and Maxwell appear to be friendly and smiling for the picture. Musk tweeted, ‘Don’t know Ghislaine at all. ‘She photobombed me once at a Vanity Fair party several years ago. Real question is why VF invited her in the first place.’ This is not the first time Musk has been confronted about knowing Epstein and Maxwell. Last year Musk was forced to address rumors that he helped Epstein meet Zuckerberg at a private 2015 dinner.

The dinner in question took place in Palo Alto in August and was thrown by the CEO of LinkedIn, Reid Hoffman. Musk told AXIOS that  MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito requested that Hoffman invite Epstein, as well as, Peter Thiel, Zuckerberg, and Musk himself. Musk gave an official statement to Vanity Affair in 2019. He said,  ‘I don’t recall introducing Epstein to anyone, as I don’t know the guy well enough to do so, Epstein is obviously a creep and Zuckerberg is not a friend of mine.”

Musk continued, ‘Several years ago, I was at his house in Manhattan for about 30 minutes in the middle of the afternoon with Talulah [Riley], as she was curious about meeting this strange person for a novel she was writing. We did not see anything inappropriate at all, apart from weird art. He tried repeatedly to get me to visit his island. I declined.’ The denial was furthered by an email from a spokesperson on the behalf of Musk. It read,  ‘Elon never introduced Jeffrey Epstein to Mark Zuckerberg and does not know either person well enough to do so. They simply happened to be guests at a neuroscience dinner organized by Reid Hoffman.’
