WATCH: Dr. Phil Asks Trump an Insane Question About Assassination Attempt

During an interview with Donald Trump that was released this week, Dr. Phil McGraw asked the former president if he thought Kamala Harris and Joe Biden were 'ok' with him being shot.

While he might have begun his television career thanks to an assist from DNC speaker Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Phil McGraw has been more open about his Conservative views over the last few years. This is especially true when it comes to Donald Trump.

McGraw has conducted multiple interviews with Trump and commonly asks much easier questions that he asks those who appear on his show. In his most recent spot, he asked Trump of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, "I’m not saying that they wanted you to get shot, but do you think it was okay with them if you did?"

"I don’t know," Trump responded to the absurd question. "I mean, I don’t know. There’s a lot of hatred. I don’t know why?"

Trump would later continue:

"I’m not a threat to democracy at all. They are a threat to democracy. But they would say that that was standard line. Just keep saying it. And you know, that can get assassins or potential assassins going. That’s a terrible thing I used to say– and you fight it. But everybody — it was a standard line for them. Donald Trump is a threat to democracy. I’m just the opposite."
