WATCH: Donald Trump Jr.’s Riot Pre-Game Video Could Be A Problem
Because his father is banned from social media, Donald Trump, Jr. was kind enough last night to post the hostage video of the president for the first time publicly acknowledging that he lost the election and saying that he denounces the riot he incited at the U.S. Capitol. It’s classic Donald Trump, slowly and deliberately reading words he doesn’t believe, a performance delivered purely so he can try to absolve himself of any culpability.
But it is Trump Jr.’s video that law enforcement authorities will be more interested in as they pursue criminal prosecutions in the wake of the riot. For almost two and a half minutes Jr. takes us on a magical mystery tour of a tent near the stage of Wednesday’s Trump rally where the president, daughter Ivanka, Trump Jr.’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and others are pre-gaming before Trump takes the stage to deliver his riot-inciting remarks.
It opens with Jr. narrating: “Awesome patriots who are sick of the b******t, so thank you for that.” Whip up the crowd music blares as number one son bellows to Gilfoyle, who of course breaks into a little shimmy for the camera. Toward the end of the video Junior brings Meadows in close as he refers to him as “a real fighter, one of the few,” followed by Gilfoyle telling viewers, “Now is the time to do the right thing – fight!”
If you want to watch the full video you’ll have to do so here. For some reason it has disappeared from junior’s Twitter feed.
Trump, Donald Jr, Kimberly Guilfoyle and others watching the crowd getting fired up hours before they stormed the Capitol, and dancing in enjoyment while the song Gloria is playing. Seems premeditated, no? pic.twitter.com/E6tHufOjiN
