“There are ways to end this very quickly,” the former president proclaims, but if he knows what they are, he isn’t telling. Of course, Trump still hasn’t gotten around to telling America what’s in his health care plan, which he was touting even as he campaigned in 2016, so maybe we shouldn’t hold our collective breath.
Trump has been critical of President Joe Biden’s response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, calling the president weak, and declaring that Putin is “playing Biden like a drum,” and claiming that if he was still in office, Vladimir Putin would never have attacked the neighboring country.
However, faced with the question of what exactly he would do differently, as the leader of the United States, than Biden has done, Trump can’t seem to name a thing. (Watch closely the moment the question is completed for a brief glimpse of an expression that evokes the image of a deer in headlights, before Trump begins to ramble and carefully avoid actually answering the question.)

“Number one, we shouldn’t be here. But on the assumption that we’re here…there are things that he should do. I would rather not tell him under this forum, I don’t think it’s appropriate to say that. But there are things he could do that would very strong, very powerful, and I think would end it pretty quickly. But remember this: we are the greatest nuclear power.”
He then quickly pivots to praising himself, crediting himself for “rebuilding our military,” and starting Space Force, ‘which has a lot to do with what we’re talking about.”
